The congregation genuinely enjoys spending time together and members are involved in the community participating in the town Good Friday Crosswalk, community worship in September, and putting up flags in the cemetery for Memorial Day.
The Corydon United Methodist Church has a wonderful music ministry consisting of a chancel choir and handbell choir that connects people to God in ways that cannot be expressed in words. The accessible building is rarely empty as it is used so often by the parish and the community.
The congregation is deeply committed to the faith family and to the community. They work closely with the other churches in town for a joint Easter Sunrise Service, a community Vacation Bible School, and a community Christmas Gathering.
The congregation hosts a free Community Breakfast Hour every Monday. They are involved with and supportive of all the parish ministries.
The congregation seeks to creative and maintain close bonds within the faith family. They offer seasonal activities to bring the congregation together for fellowship. If someone needs a little extra love, encouragement, or support they do their best to meet the need.
